Beatriz Vazquez

Vice President & Personal Banking.
I was recruited as a secretary by Mr. Concepcion, a former Ocean Bank Vice President, and worked with eight other employees in a trailer where our headquarters now land.

Angel Fontela

Vice President & Controller.
In the summer of 1982, I was approached by Ocean Bank’s first president, Mr. Jorge Perez, as I was water skiing in his backyard lake. He asked me if I wanted to work for a new bank since I was a college junior studying accounting at the time.
