Ocean Bank Provides $17.5 Million For Refinance of Aloft Hotel

Ocean Bank announced it has loaned $17.5 million to Mary Brickell Village Hotel LLC to refinance the Aloft Hotel in Miami’s Brickell district.

The Aloft by Marriott is located at 1001 SW 2nd Avenue.  Built in 2013 and renovated in 2021, the hotel offers 160 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar/lounge, a fitness center, meeting space, and an outdoor pool and enclosed patio.

“Pedro F. Villar, principal of Mary Brickell Village Hotel LLC, has been an Ocean Bank client for nearly 30 years, and it was a pleasure working with Mr. Villar and his team on putting together the refinancing of this amazing asset” said Eddie Diaz, Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Lending.

“The Aloft is in an excellent location in West Brickell, asset.”

Senior Vice President Jorge Hernandez arranged the loan for Ocean Bank.
